It’s high season for athletes who are ramping up for fall races. I myself am guilty of eating a couple bars on the bike and washing it down with diluted OJ (acid + sugar). So of course I’m NOT JUDGING others, because I’m just as guilty, but let’s not forget about basic water. If we go from coffee to Gatorade and then the post ride/run/swim social brew, we are never letting our mouth return to its ideal PH. Remember to follow up your training with a good brush and floss and make sure you fit in good clean water in your day. It’s all about balance!
